Hey guys! I’m stressing about my life and schedule right now. If I’m *possibly* thinking of going into Impressionism later on in life, obviously French is the better choice. But I already did a semester of Italian….  Should I start over with French or keep going with Italian?  ~K

Hey everyone!  Sorry for the extreme lack of posts… it’s been a tough few weeks. I had the flu and now I have four midterms and then it’s spring break, and then it’ll be finals. And Aaron isn’t even an art history major anymore (I know.) so the inspiration just isn’t there, I guess? So pleaseeee send in questions, submissions, comments, anything!

Hey guys! I just wanted to clarify something with the post I reblogged before. It isn’t my opinion, I just figured with the 400+ followers there would be a few who agree with the meme. Being an art history major, I do have an appreciation for all the different types of art and painting (except for Dadaism…I will never learn to love a urinal). I don’t consider the works of...

Help me raise money to fight cancer!
storiadellarte: Hey guys! I don’t know if you have heard about it, but I’m on the committee for my school’s Relay for Life event with the American Cancer Society. Basically, we stay up all night and have fun and honor those who have both lost and won the fight against cancer. Last year, our school raised $25,000 and we really want to double that this year. I know this is unrelated to art...

So my Venetian Renaissance professor wants us to look at two exhibits at the Met for our next exam. He expects us to memorize all of the works in both because some might be on the test….in addition to what we are learning in class. And the midterm won’t be for a few weeks and this visit has to be before next Sunday.  This is all just a sick joke, right?

Anonymous asked: I have a mid term for my art history course in 3 weeks, what's the best way to study? She shows all the slides and it's multiple choice, but she wants us to know the Parthenon and the spear bearer "backwards and forwards" for the essay..
